Sonography Procedures: I've learned and practiced abdominal scan protocols on other students, during the practice we learned from each other and share experiences.

Challenges I've met:I struggled to recognize fatty liver especially for mild fatty liver, the appearance on the screen looks no obvious difference from a healthy liver. I was taught by another training students, compared with kidney if the echogenic looks the same it would be a healthy liver, if liver appears hyperechoic it could be a fatty liver.

Patient Care: My clinic placement started with observation, I observed how do they communicate with patients, especially for patients who come from different culture. For example, my supervisor always ask gender preferences first, and also my nursing experience also helps me to be more confident to communicate with patients.

The Skills & Knowledge: In my clinical placements, I am learning scan skills, and confirm patient's identify properly, need to check at least 3 information of patients (Name, DOB, Living address). Be aware of asking patient for gender preferences, and check patients history.
